In class on Thursday, we will begin with a discussion of statistics in the big wide world. Bring to class any uses of statistics which you come across in your daily life, so we can discuss how the statistic(s) is being used.

Following that we will discuss graphs, both problematic ones and good ones. Be on the lookout for a graph which you would like us to discuss.
